Journey have announced an arena tour for their 50 anniversary in the UK and Ireland, opening this autumn. See the details below.
Journey’s ‘Freedom Tour’ begins at Cardiff Utilita Arena on Wednesday, October 30th, and visits Nottingham, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham, and Newcastle. They will then play their final show at London The O2 on Sunday, November 17th.
This return is not just an anniversary tour, but a celebration of the band's ineffaceable impact on the industry.
Journey has held its place as one of the most prominent bands in the rock industry for the last half a century with hits like 'Don't Stop Believin' and 'Any Way You Want It'. Likewise, Cheap Trick, the Illinois band, is considered one of the most influential rock groups of the '70s and '80s.
Fans, young and old, will receive an unforgettable performance from these legends. The foreseeable concerts will be a night of nostalgia as Journey hasn't performed in Ireland since 2011.
“It’s been too long since we’ve seen you all! We are all very excited to be coming back to the UK & Ireland and playing with our good friends Cheap Trick, who I’ve known and played with since the 70s. It’s going to be a great party for all! said Schon.
