Earlier this month, Twanky Records, which Owen co-founded with her husband, released a big band version of the playful 'Tess's Torch Song', filmed at Toulouse Theatre in New Orleans, Louisiana.
"After rocking the androgynous look for the first two videos, the look for ‘Tess’s Torch Song’, is a dream come true for any “woman in control” who loves glamour!," the singer shared on Instagram.
"It was exactly what I wanted for that “Old Hollywood”, Rita Hayworth/Gilda look, along with long Opera gloves, lots of milky skin, red hair, red lips, and plenty of attitude. (This woman’s been wronged but she’s not taking it lying down!)"

Come On & Get It was inspired by Owen's childhood fascination with the music of female jazz and blues heroes, including unsung trailblazers Nellie Lutcher and Julia Lee, whom she discovered on the shelves of her father's record collection alongside the likes of Oscar Peterson and Jelly Roll Morton.
Captivated and enchanted by the unapologetic approaches of '40s and '50s icons Pearl Bailey, Dinah Washington, Blossom Dearie, Peggy Lee and Julie London, Judith Owen strove to find out more about both the music and the history of her craft. This led to what the singer has titled her most uplifting and empowering project.

The album is "a throw-back with a fresh feel, Judith style; complete with a look and style that speaks of all those hugely entertaining women who broke the glass ceiling with their shoe heels and were ever so proud of it!," according to the press release.
Judith Owen has played sold out shows for jazz aficionados in Paris, London and New Orleans - with dates expected to be announced in New York and Los Angeles - as part of her advance album tour. Media across Europe have embraced her latest release as both singles have been played by radio stations in Germany, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands and featured on over 40 playlists in the UK, including Jazz FM.
Judith Owen released her first album Emotions on a Postcard via Dog on the Bed Music in 1996, which was followed by 12 more LPs and two EPs, spanning the genres rock, pop, classical, jazz, blues, and musical theatre.
Her last album, 2018's redisCOVERed, was her first cover album and showcases her own interpretations of classics by the likes of Deep Purple, Donna Summer, Joni Mitchell, Drake and Ed Sheeran.
Recorded at Esplanade Studios in New Orleans, Come On & Get It boasts an impressive amount of musical talent, including renowned musical director David Torkanowsky (Dianne Reeves, Irma Thomas, Allen Toussaint, Danny Barker), Kevin Louis (Duke Ellington Orchestra, Preservation Hall), Pedro Segundo (Kansas Smitty’s), Lex Warshawsky (Cyrille Aimée), Charlie Gabriel (Lionel Hampton Orchestra, Aretha Franklin), Donald Harrison Jr. (Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers), Jason Marsalis, Nicholas Payton, Evan Christopher (Arnold McCuller, Mark Isham), Ricardo Pascal (Wynton Marsalis Big Band, Dee Dee Bridgewater), and many more.
