Following a series of lauded festival appearances, and the release of his epic Junior Brother's Favourite earlier this year, Junior Brother has announced a run of headline shows across Ireland this December.
Among the upcoming gigs is a full-band show at Whelan's in Dublin on Saturday, December 23. Junior Brother will also appear as a two-piece in Dolan's, Limerick (Sunday, Dec 17), and De Barra's, Clonakilty (Thursday, Dec 28).
The shows come after a string of dates this month, including support slots for Mick Flannery at the Empire in Belfast tonight, and at the Spirit Store in Dundalk tomorrow. The singer-songwriter is also featuring as part of the line-up for Common Threads, taking place this Saturday, October 14, in North Clare.
He's also set to tour across England in February 2024, with dates in Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, Guilford, Ipswich and London.
The Co. Kerry artist's Junior Brother's Favourite EP – made up of one near-20-minute-track – followed last year's The Great Irish Famine, his Choice Prize-nominated debut album Pull The Right Rope (2019), and the Fuck Off I Love You EP (2016).
While announcing the upcoming dates, Junior Brother also teased that "new things are upon dat horizon..."
