"We’re beyond excited to have this extraordinary Irish artist join our label," Strap Originals have remarked. "One of the most unique and powerful voices out there..."
Fresh from his run of UK tour dates supporting Peter Doherty, Junior Brother has been announced as the latest act to join the roster of the English artist's independent record label, Strap Originals.
"Welcome to the Strap Originals family, Junior Brother!" the label wrote on social media last night. "We’re beyond excited to have this extraordinary Irish artist join our label. One of the most unique and powerful voices out there — and his first single will be landing real soon...
"Big love from all of us at Strap."
Strap Originals was launched in 2019, with the release of Peter Doherty and the Puta Madres' self-titled album. The roster of the label – "forged with love by Peter Doherty", with the aim of "supporting artists with style and vigour" – also includes the likes of Warmduscher, Andrew Cushin, PREGOBLIN, Real Farmer, Jack Jones, and Vona Vella.
Co. Kerry-reared Junior Brother released his latest single 'Take Guilt' in late 2024, alongside a music video starring award-winning actor Éanna Hardwicke.
