Fresh off a sold-out UK & IE tour, Just Mustard will headline a short IE tour in January, followed by a European tour in February and a run of supporting dates with Fontaines D.C. in the spring.
Rising Irish 5-piece Just Mustard have shared the first look at their anticipated new album, slated to arrive in 2022. The release of 'I Am You' comes with the news that the band will support Dubliners Fontaines D.C. on their upcoming European tour.
'I Am You' levels-up the band’s signature slow building hypnotic intensity, and is accompanied by an atmospheric visualizer created by Dylan Friese-Greene. The song was produced by the band, mixed by David Wrench (FKA Twigs, Frank Ocean, The XX, Caribou), and recorded at Attica Studios in Donegal, Ireland during lockdown.
This summer Just Mustard premiered a stunning full-length concert film entitled ‘Live In Dreams', filmed at Dundalk Town Hall (An Táin Arts Centre), in the band’s hometown of Dundalk. The set features more new songs, in addition to previously released material.
Just Mustard consist of vocalist Katie Ball, guitarists David Noonan (also backing vocals) and Mete Kalyoncuoglu, bassist Rob Clarke, and drummer Shane Maguire. Their heady blend of noise, trip hop, and electronic-influenced music has helped them build a reputation as one of Ireland’s most thrilling new bands. Their 2018 debut Wednesday earned acclaim at home and abroad – most notably capturing a Choice Music Prize nomination for Irish Album of the Year.

The band supported Fontaines D.C. on their sold out 2019 UK tour, and emerged as a ‘band of the weekend’ at Brighton’s Great Escape Festival. That same year were also handpicked by Robert Smith to support The Cure at Dublin’s Malahide Castle. Big things are coming from Just Mustard HQ.
