Things may be relatively static in the Irish Charts – but the re-emergence of the Memphis-born star is to be celebrated!
Justin Timberlake is back – with a bang! The boy from Memphis Tennessee has leapfrogged most of the opposition to land at No.3 in the Irish charts, with his new album Man Of The Woods The album comes after a hiatus of almost five years, and it has ben well received critically. Justin has been busy promoting the new album, including a Super Bowl half-time show that garnered mixed reactions from the media.
Meanwhile, The Greatest Showman soundtrack has maintained its No.1 position in the charts, proving that one way to win the hearts of Irish punters, both musically and at the box-office, is through lively theatrics and feel-good grooves. It will be interesting to see if Hugh Jackman et al can maintain the top position next week, with Valentine's Day in the middle of it all.
Irish two-piece pop group Picture This move up one spot to No.4 with their self-titled debut, released on Warner Brothers.

The biggest mover this week, perhaps not surprisingly, is Kendrick Lamar whose album Damn has jumped a whopping 12 places from No.19 to No.7. Kendrick has been busy on the European leg of 'The Damn Tour', with a sold-out stop over in Dublin's 3 Arena last Wednesday clearly helping to lift sales.
