The third and fourth acts have been added to the fray alongside Erica-Cody and Ailsha, competing to represent Ireland in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
Among 380 song submissions, ‘Judas’ by Irish rapper JyellowL and ‘Let Me Be The Fire’ by Irish-Australian singer-songwriter Isabella Kearney have been chosen as two of six songs set to compete at the end of January. The winner will represent Ireland in the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest.
JyellowL, born Jean-Luc Uddoh, has been on the Irish hiphop scene since 2016, named a 2fm rising artist only three years later. He released his first album, D/vision, in 2020, debuting at number two on the official iTunes album charts and earning him a nomination for Irish Album of the Year at the RTÉ Choice Music Prize.
JyellowL’s song ‘Judas,’ featuring vocalist Toshín, speaks on maintaining faith in your goals despite potential challenges and setbacks.
Isabella Kearney, based in Nashville, was signed by Sony Music as a songwriter back in 2018, working with top-industry writers for artists including Taylor Swift, Lizzo and Keith Urban.

Her song, ‘Let Me Be The Fire,’ is a self-described “dance-bop” about being a stable support system for friends and family.
The final two artists will be announced on The Ray D’Arcy Show later this week, completing the six-act lineup competing on 26th January to represent Ireland in Malmo, Sweden in May.
