The divisive musician also defended Trump and asked his team members to not have premarital sex.
Another alleged Kanye West release date has come, and here we are emptyhanded. At this point, its hard to be shocked since Kanye's pulled this same stunt numerous times. Yet, there is disappointment as we were all feeling particularly optimistic about Jesus Is King coming out today. After all, this time it was confirmed by credible and official sources. Kanye tweeted that the delay is due to fixing the mix on three specific tracks: 'Water,' 'Everything We Need,' and 'Follow God.'
Kanye drummed up even more controversy with a recent Beats 1 interview with Zane Lowe where he defended Trump and declared himself the 'the greatest artist in human existence.' He continued that, 'to put on a red hat on was God's practical joke to all liberals.'
West, who describes himself as a Christian, also said he asked those working on the album not to have sex before marriage. West reported that 'there were times where I was asking people not to have premarital sex while they were working on the album. There were times where I went to people that were working on other projects and said, can you just work and focus on this? I thought if we could all focus and fast – families who pray together stay together.'
We can't be sure when Jesus Is King will be out now, but here's what Kanye has left us with in the meantime.
