Sheeran's 'Bad Habits' is the first single to spend 10 weeks at number 1 in 3 years.
In April 2018, Drake's 'God's Plan' reached its 10th week at number one. But now, Ed Sheeran's 'Bad Habits' is going toe-to-toe, vying for an 11th week and to break the record – only time will tell.
Once again, 'Bad Habits' was Ireland’s most downloaded and streamed song of the week. This news comes just a week before Sheeran's next single, 'Shivers', is released next Friday.
Meanwhile, Kanye West claimed not one, but three highest new entries, with 'Hurricane' placing at Number 7, 'Jail' at Number 9 and 'Off The Grid' at Number 11. All three songs are off his latest album, Donda, which also scored him a number 1 in the Album Charts.

Over on the Album Charts, West has ousted Olivia Rodrigo who took the number 1 spot last week. That said, Rodrigo's Sour still had the most physical purchases of the week.
Halsey scored highest new entry with If I Can't Have Love I Want Power, which debuted at number 6, and Chvrches' Screen Violence entered the chart at number 23.
