The pair have also topped the Irish Independent Albums Chart this week with their collaborative album
Following the release of Vultures 1 last weekend, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have gone straight to No.2 on the Official Irish Albums Chart this week – held off the top spot only by Noah Kahan, who continues his reign at No.1 with Stick Season.
Vultures 1 features contributions from West's daughter North West, Travis Scott, Quavo, Freddie Gibbs, YG, Playboi Carti, and more – but has also been released amid controversy, given that West has been accused of antisemitism on numerous occasions in recent years.
The album, which was released through West's YZY brand, also debuted at the top of the Irish Independent Albums Chart. Three tracks from the LP, meanwhile, have entered the Official Irish Singles Chart this week, including 'Carnival' at No. 18, 'Back To Me' at No.21, and 'Burn' at No.22.
Other notable entries on this week's Official Irish Albums Chart include Declan McKenna, who has debuted at No.6 with his third studio album, What Happened To The Beach? You can read his interview about the album in the new issue of Hot Press, out next week – and available to pre-order here.
