As well as rapper, you can now refer to Kanye West as the biggest non-athletic endorser of the sport clothing world.
West has signed the dotted line on a lucrative deal with the German sports brand.
Following on from their hugely successful collaborations in the past, Adidas and West have decided to go the whole hog and make it a permanent partnership. West first collaborated with Adidas two years ago after famously falling out with Nike. West attributed his decision to join Adidas to the fact that he was given more creative freedom and greater royalties. Last year, Yeezy premiered another batch of Adidas clothing at New York City's Fashion Week to considerable financial success, in particular the Yeezy Boost sneakers. A pair of these bad boys go for $350 but you will see them being sold for hundreds more on the likes of eBay.
This new business endeavor between Adidas and West will see Adidas stores opening that are dedicated solely to Yeezy products. The finer details of the deal haven't been disclosed but with guestimations of their last deal reaching $10 million, it can only be assumed that this time the figure is upwards from there.
