The Belfast-based singer makes her homecoming next autumn with dates in Belfast and Dublin.
Multi award-winning recording artist Katie Melua has announced an extensive 45-date headline winter 2020 tour including dates for Belfast and Dublin. She will perform live at the Ulster Hall on 23 November and Vicar St on 24 November 2020. Born in the Georgian city of Kutaisi, Melua and her family emigrated to Belfast when she was 9 years old. She has released 7 studio albums to date and is one of the UK’s highest-selling female recording artists of all time.
The announcement of the tour coincides with news of a Live In Concert 2xCD album featuring Gori Women’s Choir, recorded at London’s Central Hall, Westminster, in December 2018. The limited edition collection is presented as a 84-page hardback book, and contains never-before-seen photographs of moments on stage and behind-the-scenes, captured by photographer Karni Arieli.
The book also contains illustrations created by the show’s creative directors Karni & Saul and opens with a foreword written by Melua herself.
Tickets for the tour will go on general sale on Friday 22 November 2019 at 10am. Pre-order the new album here to access an exclusive artist pre-sale.
