Katy Perry has announced the beginning of an “extraordinary new pop era” with the release of her new single ‘Woman’s World’, out July 11.
The official video will premiere the morning of July 12. The superstar unveiled the single’s cover art, which was shot by acclaimed British photographer Jack Bridgland, and a snippet of the song on her social media.
The track is the first single from her forthcoming album, following up from her last LP, 2020’s Smile.

Since her 2008 album One of the Boys, she’s racked up 115 billion streams alongside worldwide sales of over 70 million adjusted albums and 143 million tracks – making her the biggest-selling female artist in Capitol Records’ history.
Her sophomore studio LP Teenage Dream ushered in one of the most fruitful periods for any artist ever. In addition to massive hits ‘Firework’ and ‘California Gurls,’ the 9x Platinum album’s titular track as well as ‘E.T.’ have each reached 10x Platinum Status.
In September, the singer sold the rights to her catalogue of music for a reported $225 million (€210.4m).
Elsewhere, the Santa Barbara native recently wrapped up her Las Vegas residency, PLAY, and completed her seventh consecutive season as a judge on American Idol.
A UNICEF ambassador, Perry has also been one of many high-profile musicians to urge for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, recently taking to Instagram to call for an “end to the senseless killing of children” to her 207 million followers.
