The LP marks the artist’s first since 2020’s Smile.
Katy Perry has announced a new album, 143, set to release on September 20, 2024, via Capitol.
“I set out to create a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message,” said Perry in a statement.
Last month the singer announced lead single and video ‘Woman’s World, which is set to arrive on July 12.

One of the best-selling pop stars of all time, Perry has racked up 115 billion streams alongside worldwide sales of over 70 million adjusted albums since her debut One of the Boys in 2008 - making her the biggest-selling female artist in Capitol’s history.
Sophomore record Teenage Dream paved the way for one of the most succesful periods for any artist ever. In addition to massive hits ‘Firework’ and ‘California Gurls,’ the 9x Platinum album’s titular track as well as ‘E.T.’ have each reached 10x Platinum Status.
In September 2023, the Santa Barbara native sold the rights to her catalogue of music for a reported $225 million (€210.4m).
Elsewhere, Perry wrapped up a Las Vegas residency and completed her seventh consecutive season as a judge on American Idol. A UNICEF ambassador, she's also been vocal in urging for a ceasefire in Gaza, recently taking to Instagram to call for an “end to the senseless killing of children” to her 207 million followers.
