The popstar made headlines only a couple days ago due to a similar allegation by a male model. This time around it is a female TV host who's claiming that Perry acted inappropriately towards her when both attended an industry party.
As reported by Hot Press, Katy Perry was accused of sexual misconduct by 38 years-old Josh Kloss who was featured in the video for her hit song 'Teenage Dream' nine years ago. Amongst other things, she reportedly pulled his pants down to flash his genitals in front of people, which obvisouly resulted in a lot of embarassment for Kloss.
In a similar fashion, according to Russian newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Perry was heavily intoxicated when she groped Tina Kandelaki and tried to kiss her. Although the TV host claims that she rejected Perry’s advances, she accuses the singer of acting inappropriately with other people at that same industry party.
Now that a second person has come forward following Kloss, it could possibly indicate a pattern. In a dynamic very similar to what unfolded with the #MeToo movement, Kandelaki explained that she only came forward after Kloss had first led the way with his own claims.
While it is way too early to say whether there are solid foundations to these sexual harassment claims, this certainely does not look good on Perry.
Kloss had pointed out the fact that the focus always seems to always be on men when it comes to sexual harassment. "I just say this now because our culture is set on proving men of power are perverse. But females with power are just as disgusting," he explained.

It seems that most people, especially her fans, are highly skeptical about those claims made against the singer.
Following the release of Kloss statement on Instagram, Johnny Wujek - who hosted the party where the pants accident allegedly happened - jumped to Perry's defense.
"Oh hell no. I’m not about to let you make accusations against my friend like this. This is such bulls***. Katy would never do something like that. We all know about your on going obsession with her since the day of filming that video," he said.
"You were writing her music. And planning an imaginary future with her. It’s not ok to do this to people who have done nothing but uplift and inspire others," he added. "Focus on your life and your daughter and move on josh. I’ll be praying for you. We all will."
Part of Kloss's answer to this read: "I was supposed to minimize myself and stay PC to protect her “image”. I listened and was a good boy. The fear sticks with you, when you are censored to protect someone else’s image. But in return treated like a prostitute and exposed in front of a group of her friends and other random people."
So far, the popstar did not address any of those claims herself, despite many publications attempting to contact her for comments. However, the seriousness of those may call for the release of some sort of statement.
Time will tell if other people decide to come forward with similar allegations or if the case falls into oblivion.
