Inevitable Incredible is available to pre-order now on heavyweight LP, CD and digital formats. You can listen to the title track from the upcoming album below.
Stereophonics' Kelly Jones has today announced his new studio album Inevitable Incredible, out 3rd May via Ignition Records Ltd.
The news is accompanied by the unveiling of the record's evocative title track.
The wistfully sparse and emotive single marks a bold, stylistic shift for Jones, a long-established and beloved singer-songwriter in the UK.
Setting the scene for the accompanying album, Jones unravels a tenderness and vulnerability, highlighting his breadth and depth vocally, that is sometimes overshadowed by his rock anthems of Stereophonics.
The piano-laden, cinematic and widescreen soundscapes mark a departure from the heavy rock sensibilities of Jones' previous material with Stereophonics. 'Inevitable Incredible' sees the songwriter pushing past comfort zones and with a vulnerability not often associated with a major artist nearly 25 years into his career.
Inevitable Incredible was recorded in Norway's Ocean Sound studio disembarked to the beautiful, tucked away on a tiny remote island in the North Sea.

"The remote surroundings of the island studio allowed the songs to come to life and breathe, no distractions, it was such a new experience," Jones says of the album. "There were no expectations for how the songs should sound. Just let the emotion and vulnerability I put into writing those songs come to life."
He continues that recording in Norway "influenced how the songs came to be. It was a truly cathartic experience. I feel like I left it all out there on these songs."
Out 3rd May, Inevitable Incredible is available to pre-order on heavyweight LP, CD and digital formats here.
