Chanel has released their newest promotional video, entitled The Button, ahead of the Spring-Summer 20224 Haute Couture show, which will be released on Tuesday, January 23.

The black and white short film, scored by Kendrick Lamar and directed by his longtime creative partner Dave Free, is a collaboration between the fashion trailblazers and the service company pgLang, founded by Lamar and Free.

Featuring Lamar’s first new music release since 2022, the three minute film, written by Free, is a story of “time and transmission,” according to the company’s social media.

At the invitation of Virginie Viard, Kendrick Lamar and creative partner Dave Free meet the world of CHANEL Haute Couture for the first time, bringing to life a story about time and transmission.
