The number of views surpasses those of the previous title-holders: Michael Jackson and Usher.
Kendrick Lamar's 2025 Halftime Show is the most-watched Super-Bowl performance ever, according to Roc Nation, Apple Music, and the NFL.
Lamar made history as the first solo rapper to headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show. The rapper brought in 133.5 million viewers live during the event, and has since amassed over 38 million views on YouTube and other social medias.
His performance also got more eyes than last year’s headliner Usher, who had 129.3 million viewers, and Rihanna's 121 million in 2023. He has also surpassed Michael Jackson's famous 1993 Half-Time show that held the record of 133.4 million viewers.
For his performance, Kendrick Lamar had previously confirmed that SZA will be joining him, however, there were surprise cameos such as Samuel L. Jackson and Serena Williams.
Samuel L. Jackson narrated the rapper's show as Uncle Sam while Serena Williams made an appearance to dance and crip-walk throughout his act.
Lamar’s Halftime Show performance came after his success at the 2025 Grammys. The rapper took home five awards, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for ‘Not Like Us’.
