After wowing crowds at President Barack Obama's inauguration in 2009, the group brings its powerful show to the National Concert Hall in Dublin
Cited as President Obama's favourite choir, the group performed at the president's January 2009 inauguration and almost immediately after were given a record deal with Universal and soon embarked on a world tour.
This tour leads them to Ireland for the first time on Tuesday 20th April at the National Concert Hall in Dublin at 8pm.
Led by founder and conductor Joseph Muyale since 1989, the 40 member choir of 13-24 year olds possess a sound that combines traditional Masai and Samburu chants with contemporary African pieces, European classics and Negro spirituals.
In 2000, they were awarded first place with the highest marks ever at the Kenya National Music Festival.
