The emerging Irish artist produced 'If I Can't Have You' remotely over lockdown with PCG Beats, drawing on elements of pop, R&B and electronic influences.
Rising Irish singer-songwriter Emma Edel is hoping to make waves across the national music scene with her debut pop anthem 'If I Can't Have You'.
Layered with energetic soulful pop vocals and trademark catchy production from PCG Beats, the track incorporates elements of multiple genres to create a subtle, fresh sound.
Written last year, Edel says she was "in a place where I was craving the perfect outcome in a relationship but doubting it may not be in line with the lifestyle I deserved."
The song teases the desire of what could be, while imagining for a moment you have it wholeheartedly. A song full of mischief it teases the idea of really wanting something you don’t necessarily need right now.
Emma Edel has been based in Dublin since 2014 to attend BIMM, focusing writing, producing and gigging while perfecting her musical sound.
Influenced by heavyweight female icons Emeli Sande, Beyonce and Rihanna, as well as R&B and hip-hop artists; the Kerry pop singer has played numerous acoustic sets in well-known venues throughout her life.

Edel has performed at The Ruby Sessions, The INEC Acoustic Club and The Zodiac Sessions and as a session musician in The Button Factory, Opium Rooms & Whelan’s.
The singer has since been spending a lot of her time in Kerry since Lockdown began in March. She plans to release her second single in early 2021 and will inevitably start performing her new material live.
For now, Emma is lazer-focused on building up a fanbase with her debut single, and it'll be tough getting this pop gem out of your head.
