With sleek production and an atmospheric beat, the strong debut shines a spotlight on the 24-year-old artist.
Up and coming Tralee musician Owen Rua has released his catchy debut track, 'Do You Ever Think of Me', which blends and embrace the genres of pop, blues, folk and soul.
Hailing from the scenic South West of Ireland, the prolific performer has studied music in Saint Louis College in Rome, Italy and graduated with a four-year degree from Cork School of Music.
A regular in the world of acoustic live music, Rua utilises storytelling as a vital cog in the wheel of his creative process.
With influences ranging from Mariah Carey and Barbra Streisand to Sam Smith and Hozier, it's hard to pin down Rua to one particular field, but that's how he likes it.
Nabbing a slot as an opening act for Declan O’Rourke at the ‘Learn from Leaders Live’ event two years ago, Rua has been gigging around the country ever since and is gaining airplay ground on national radio.
