"A beautiful slow-burner with all the best elements of melancholy Americana"
After releasing his latest album Make It Up earlier this year, Kevin Herm Connolly now launches the arguably best song from the record as his new single. 'I'm Still In Love With You' is an emotional acoustic ballad about love and heartbreak.
"I've had this song in my locker for a while now", Kevin Herm Connolly says. "It's always been a live favourite. It's taken a while to get the arrangement and production right in the studio but I feel we nailed it for this album. It's basically a love song, telling a tale that's as old as the hills. I was going for that timeless, classic quality so was delighted when reviewers singled it out for special mention".

In his album review of Make It Up, Wayne Byrne called 'I'm Still In Love With You' the "album highlight" and "an exquisite piece of songwriting and production".
He wrote, "It's a beautiful slow-burner with all the best elements of melancholy Americana; awash with brooding tremolo guitar, the track climaxes with mournful violin. This is the kind of whiskey-and-tobacco stained country ballad in which the protagonist can't catch a break with either his landlord or his lady."
A Galway native, Kevin cut his teeth in the alt-country band El Diablo before releasing Monsters, the first collection of his own songs, under the name Herm. The follow-up, Make It Up, revealed a development in Kevin's song-writing from the quirky and edgy indie pop of his debut to a more reflective and organic approach.
