It's shaping up to be a monster three-days of spoken word and performance!
More big names have been confirmed for May 5-7’s Vinyl extravaganza in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham.

“Kevin Shields will discuss the pioneering legacy of My Bloody Valentine and the band’s forthcoming album, whilst renowned record producer Flood (U2, Depeche Mode, Nick Cave) will be in conversation with celebrated actor Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders, Dunkirk). Brix Smith Start will be talking with Manchester DJ, writer and broadcaster Dave Haslam about her former husband, Mark E. Smith, and her days in iconic punk band, The Fall. Co-founding member of The Cure, Lol Tolhurst, will outline his relationship with Robert Smith, as well as discuss The Cure’s landmark 1982 album, Pornography. Veteran songwriter and musician Donovan will chat about a life in music, including his relationship with The Beatles and the timeless appeal of songs such as Mellow Yellow and Hurdy Gurdy Man. The fascinating (and unexplored) history of Irish vinyl will be methodically outlined by Philip King, the man behind the lauded television series, Other Voices. The Stunning’s Steve and Joe Wall will describe how to sustain a music career, as well as talk about the 25th anniversary of their album, Once Around The World. Irmin Schmidt, a true pioneer of ambient and experimental music, will discuss the history and legacy of Can with the writer Rob Young (Electric Eden: Unearthing Britain’s Visionary Music). Damian O’Neill and Michael Bradley of The Undertones will be reflecting on over 40 years of the band and their classic pop/punk songs, including the eternally brilliant Teenage Kicks. Berlin-based Victor Van Vugt (The Fall, PJ Harvey, Nick Cave) will chart his production practices as well as chat about the artists he has worked with. Commended rock music photographer Chalkie Davies will discuss his remarkable work for the NME and The Face. Also talking about The Face will be Paul Gorman, author of The Story Of The Face, the history of the iconic pop culture magazine.”
