Titled ‘True North’ the album is to be a wake-up call in all the noise of social media.
From busking on Grafton Street to playing sold out venues across the country, this independent music group are favourites on the Irish music scene for all the right reasons. Modestly carrying the titles of multi-award winning and multi-platinum selling, Keywest are known for fusing folk, rock and pop genres together into their unique sound.
The four-piece are now set to release their third studio album on the 30th of March, ahead of their sold out gig at the Olympia on the 31st.
“ ‘True North” means finding your calling, finding your authentic self amongst all the noise in this social media obsessed world and being good with who you are.”
According to the lads themselves, the album will “[motivate] a festival-filled crowd to sing along” and is rife with crisp harmonies, choppy acoustic guitar and big drumbeats - perfectly suitable as the warmer weather now arrives on our shores and a true reflection of Keywest and their love for playing street shows and festivals.
