This marks the duo's first release since 'Believe in Love' which they dropped last year.
Indie-pop duo from Kilkenny, 49th & Main, have dropped two new songs today via Counter Records. This marks the duo’s first release since their 2022 single, ‘Believe in Love’.
The two new songs, ‘Said Nothing’ and ‘Crash and Burn’ are available to stream now via all streaming platforms.
‘Said Nothing’ is a poignant ballad, accompanied by a moving piano melody composed for the track, featuring London singer-songwriter SKYLAR’s velvety vocals.
Long time coming, Crash and Burn / Said Nothing (ft SKYLAR) is out there everywhere now.
Proud of these, some of the best music we’ve done coming up, some favourites of ours we’re very excited to share.

Opening with the distinctive sound of wiper blades on a windscreen, the uptempo track ‘Crash and Burn’ begins with a catchy pop-riff that transitions into a down-beat, mellow sound, which eventually carries the song back upbeat to where it began.
49th & Main recently performed at Hot Press’ LIVE@ALOFT gig where Ben O'Sullivan and Paddy King wowed the crowd with a charming performance full of high-energy tunes.
