Robert Grace has gone Platinum with his acclaimed 2020 single, 'Fake Fine'. The Kilkenny native shared the news on his social media platforms yesterday.
"IT'S SO SHINY!" he wrote on Instagram, alongside a video of the Platinum record plaque. "Still can't wrap my head around this!! Thank you all so much for buying & streaming 'Fake Fine'. Such an incredible feeling to have a platinum selling record AND it's only the beginning!!"

According to the Official Irish Charts, 'Fake Fine' was also the fifth-biggest song by an Irish act of 2020.
This weekend also saw Robert hitting another major landmark: one million followers on TikTok.

'Fake Fine', which was originally released back in June, helped launch the Irish singer-songwriter to stardom. Despite the challenges of lockdown, he has emerged as one of the country's most thrilling new talents over the last nine months – clocking up performances on the Hot Press Y&E Series and The Late Late Show, as well as a set at Eurosonic.
His latest single, 'The Hurt You Gave Me', debuted at No.11 on the Official Irish Homegrown Chart on Friday.
