The project will be the 7th release from the Atlanta native
Rapper Killer Mike has announced his latest album, Songs for Sinners and Saints, which is set to be released this Friday.
The 10-track project is attributed to Michael & The Mighty Midnight Revival, which is Killer Mike’s gospel group, and will see collaborations from Offset as well as several other rappers.
Described as a follow up to 2023’s Michael, the album’s ten tracks includes a rework of the songs ‘Slummer’, and ‘Something for Junkies’, under the new title 'Slummer 4 Junkies'.
The album will also feature the single ‘Humble Me’, a song that addresses his arrest at the 2024 Grammys after an incident with a security Guard.
Though he made his first recording debut on Outkast’s album Stankonia in 2000, it wasn’t until 2003 that Killer Mike released his debut album, Monster. Songs for Sinners and Saints will mark his 7th LP.
He also saw success as one half of Run the Jewels, a hip hop duo he formed with Brooklyn-based rapper and producer El-P.

As well as a musical career, Killer Mike has been a longtime activist, supporting Bernie Sanders as a Democratic Candidate in 2015.
Following Sander’s exit from the race, he refused to support Hillary Clinton, due to what he described as her pro-war record.
In 2017 Run the Jewels were introduced at Glastonbury by Labour candidate Jeremy Corbyn, who they subsequently endorsed.
