Ahead the release of his solo album Michael this June, Run the Jewels rapper Killer Mike shares the single 'Don't Let The Devil' featuring El-P and Thankugoodsir
In honour of his birthday today, Run The Jewels rapper Killer Mike just shared the single 'Don't Let the Devil.'
Following his solo singles 'TALK'N THAT SHIT!' and 'RUN' featuring Young Thug, the new track features fellow Run The Jewels member El-P and Thankugoodsir. It was produced by No I.D., El-P, and Little Shalimar.
'Don't Let the Devil' comes off of Killer Mike's upcoming album Michael, his first solo collection in over a decade since his 2012 album R.A.P. Music.
On Instagram, Killer Mike promoted the song while saying that he wanted to go back in time to let his younger, 12-year-old self know that he dropped a fire song on his "born-day" in addition to having a great party.
"Life is great, kid. Stay focused and Don't Let The Devil coerce ya!"

The duo Run The Jewels is made up of Killer Mike and the American rapper and producer El-P. Since 2013, they've been releasing music together and have dropped four official studio albums: Run the Jewels, Run the Jewels 2, Run the Jewels 3, and RTJ4.
On his website, Killer Mike referred to Run The Jewels as the X-Men and Michael as his Logan - the musical origin story to the greater character behind a franchise.
“It’s our ten-year anniversary and Michael is an origin story, so I wanted to start with El," Killer Mike said.
Killer Mike further disclosed that Michael "serves as an introduction to the totality of Micahel Render, a lifelong rap fiend whose consciousness is seeped in the sounds of community that raised him - multiple eras of southern rap flows, Sunday church service, and barbershop discourse."
Michael drops this summer, on June 16th.
