Killerman
Maybe it’s the anniversary that’s in it, but there’s something distinctly Nevermind-esque about the doom-laden guitar on ‘Killerman’, a bloodstained tale of woe taken from Ann Scott’s criminally overlooked third album Flo. Maybe it’s the Cobain-brand stifled intensity that does it: the track percolates with madness, while Scott’s vocal is divinely understated. All in all, a beautiful, nauseating cocktail.
