Naming himself after a village in his grandmother's native Cork, KiLLOWEN has had a year to remember in 2023 - playing to packed out festival crowds across the UK and finally releasing his well-awaited debut EP.
An electrifying West London rapper proudly baring his Irish roots, KiLLOWEN has shared his impressive debut EP Pub Therapy.
In less than a decade, KiLLOWEN has gone from producing beats for other artists, to becoming a success in his own right, pushing the boundaries of his craft and collaborating with a remarkable list of contemporaries, including p-rallel, Arlo Parks, Finn Foxell, and more.
Pub Therapy stands as a testament to his burgeoning stardom, and with an impressive monthly listenership of over 286k on Spotify and a summer of memorable festival performances (including a packed tent at Reading & Leeds) under his belt, he’s undoubtedly an artist is to keep an eye on.
Central to the EP’s theme is the idea of the pub as a place where we go to share our thoughts and feelings – perhaps sometimes in a way that's unhealthy.

KiLLOWEN’s honesty takes centre stage, discussing his emotions in a personal and transparent manner- all to the backdrop of his infectious, self-produced garage grooves.
“It's about exploring the concept people using a vice (as in 'bad habit' – Sub-ed) to express themselves,” KiLLOWEN told Hot Press. “Everyone has something that they use to express themselves, maybe something that they're not so proud of. It's engraved into us, whether we like it or not, whether I like the beer or not.”
In support of his debut EP, the rapper and producer will be playing a string of headline shows across the UK this November, in Birmingham, Manchester, and his native London. Click here for more information on tickets and dates.
