The accompanying lead single ‘Crystal Breath’, is out now.
Ohio musician Kim Deal has announced the release of her debut solo album Nobody Loves You More for November 22. She also released the lead single ‘Crystal Breath.’
It follows the release of her most recent track ‘Coast’, which is set to appear on the upcoming 11-song collection, marking Deal’s first full-length record under her own name.
The last recording for the album took place in November 2022 with legendary engineer and close friend Steve Albini at his Electrical Audio studio in Chicago. It features a variety of collaborators such as Breeders, Raymond McGinley, Jack Lawrence and Savages’ Fay Milton and Ayse Hassan. Nobody Loves You More was mixed by Marta Salogni and mastered by Heba Kadry.

Although Nobody Loves You More marks her debut LP, it is not the first time Deal has gone solo: in 2013, she self-released a five-part, ten-song seven-inch vinyl series, which was refined over several years. Its oldest songs were written and originally recorded in 2011 shortly after Deal came off the Pixies’ Lost Cities Tour and relocated to Los Angeles
Nobody Loves You More will be released digitally and on CD, cassette, standard black vinyl, Florida Orange vinyl and Dazzling Galaxy vinyl. For pre-order information, click here.
