The spookiest time of the year is officially here.
Ringing in the spookiest month of the year, rising pop-icon Kim Petras has blessed her fanbase with Turn Off the Light, a full-on Halloween album. The album serves as an expansion to last year's EP Turn Off the Lights Vol. 1. The record features classic Petras anthems such 'Close Your Eyes' and 'TRANSylvania.' The other half Turn Off the Light is comprised of new offerings. Some instant highlights are soon-to-be club favorite 'There Will Be Blood,' and the B-movie gore of 'Bloody Valentine.' It makes us want to change into our scariest costumes and hit the dancefloor.
Last Saturday, Petras performed at the 20th Los Angeles Equality Awards, which celebrates the local fight for LGBTQ civil rights, equality and social justice last Saturday (Sept. 30) at the J.W. Marriott in Los Angeles, California. She's been open about the transphobia and hate she's experienced and thus proudly performed.
