They won't name the first venue in Dublin that turned them down for a gig.
King Kong Company are "Ireland's best live act", according to their mammies. The Waterford six-piece (of "five blokes and a boxhead") are after working their way from The Sugar Club to sold out shows at the Academy, and announced Tuesday that they will make their triumphant return to the Olympia Theatre on Saturday, 3rd October.
The lads got their start releasing one YouTube video a month, and have since recorded an album with The Prodigy's producer Neil McLellan. It's a long way from the grass fields of Electric Picnic and All Together Now, but sure to be equally as exciting.

Under 14s have to be accompanied by an adult, and tickets go on sale this Friday, 31st January at 10AM.
