The Irish trio also plans to support Dermot Kennedy and George Ezra during their respective summer shows.
Avid fans of Bruce Springsteen know that he's been across the Atlantic in Europe for his and the E Street Band's world tour and is even set to make an appearance at BST Hyde Park, performing for the festival's 10th anniversary.
In more recent news, it was announced that Irish acts The Coronas, Pa Sheehy and Kingfishr would be among the rock legend's supporting acts, making them three of thirteen acts set to appear. The reveal came after Springsteen performed three sold-out shows in Dublin last month.
Now, Kingfishr, a trio made up of Fitz, McGoo, and Eddie, has confirmed their upcoming appearance at the July 8th show. On Twitter, the band posted a video of them captioned "we can't believe it" with 'Born in the USA' playing in the background.
"That's right, it's the logical next step," declares the trio, each on a motorcycle and adorned in sunglasses. "We're supporting Bruce Springsteen."

In a press release, they added that “There's no way to describe the feeling, the scale of the whole thing is just too massive. The impact Bruce has had on music is nearly just as difficult to grasp. So to think we'll be playing to the same crowd is totally overwhelming."
Nonetheless, Kingfishr isn't letting the pressure get to them.
"We're so grateful for the opportunity, we're going to play our hearts out. I don't think we've ever been so excited for anything in our lives."
Springsteen isn't the only act Kingfishr will have supported this summer. After releasing their latest single 'Anyway,' the band opened for George Ezra on his UK and Ireland tour as special guests at 3Olympia Threatre and have plans to do so again throughout his summer tour. They're also set to perform at Dermot Kennedy's upcoming Dublin shows at Marlay Park and his Limerick show at Thomond Park.
If you can't make any of those appearances, don't worry. They're set to play at a series of festivals this summer too, like Neighbourhood, Sea Sessions, Lytham Festival, Latitude, and Indiependence.
