Kingfishr have been selected as the representatives for Ireland in the Music Moves Europe (MME) Awards - a European music prize for emerging artists, Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS) announces.
The fifteen artists nominated were announced at Ireland Music Week in Dublin and at the SoAlive Music Conference in Sofia and Reconnect in Brno.
Among the shortlisted artists are Boko Yout (Sweden), Daniela Pes (Italy), HILLARI (Norway), Joalin (Finland), Judeline (Spain), Loverman (Belgium), Maella (Czech Republic), Mina Okabe (Denmark), Naomi Sharon (Netherlands), Night Tapes (Estonia), UCHE YARA (Austria), Woomb (Belgium), Yamê (France), and Zimmer90 (Germany).
Winners will be revealed at the MME Awards ceremony on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at ESNS25 in Groningen, Netherlands, a four-day music showcase festival and conference.

The entire ESNS line-up immediately joins the European Talent Exchange program, increasing their chances of getting booked at major European festivals after showcasing at ESNS.
The festival aims to represent and celebrate “today’s and tomorrow’s European sound”, with previous winners including Hozier, Alyona Alyona, Christine and the Queens, Dua Lipa, Meduza, ROSALÍA, AURORA, Stromae, and Zaho de Sagazan.
