The shows mark their first in Dublin for 5 years and first in Belfast for 8 years.
Following the release of their eighth album When You See Yourself, Kings of Leon have announced dates at Dublin's 3Arena on June 24th, 2022 and Belfast's SSE Arena on June 26th, 2022.
When You See Yourself was the rock band's sixth album in a row to debut at No.1 in the Irish & UK charts. The Tennessee group's follow-up to 2016’s Walls was released on March 5.
In Sam Steiger's review of the album for Hot Press, he wrote:
"It’s with very good reason that Kings of Leon have, for almost 20 years, been able to consistently bother the upper limits of the charts. I see no reason for that trend not to continue."
When You See Yourself has also been released in the form of a non-fungible token (NFT) - a type of cryptocurrency. Each unique token contains artwork, tickets, music and other forms of content.

According to a press statement, Kings of Leon’s NFT collection harnesses “the power of the band’s music and their new album visuals to deconstruct, degenerate and distort iconic band symbols and photography”.
Kings of Leon are currently finishing up a two-month tour of the USA, with a headline performance at Pearl Jam’s Ohana festival in Dana Point, California this weekend.
Expect songs from all eight of the band’s albums on the nights.
Tickets are available from Ticketmaster from 9am next Tuesday September 28th.
