To celebrate the announcement of their world tour and new album, Kings of Leon released the fourth track on the upcoming studio album.
Kings of Leon have released their newest single ‘Mustang’ from their forthcoming album Can We Please Have Fun which will be out on May 10.
This will be the first album the band has released with their new label Capitol Records. Kings of Leon consists of members Caleb on guitar and vocals, Nathan on drums, Jared on bass and Matthew Followill on guitar.
The group has released eight albums together starting with Youth & Young Manhood in 2003 and most recently When You See Yourself in 2021. Together they have sold over 20 million albums and nearly 40 million singles worldwide. The band has gone multi-platinum and has had five singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as well as seven of their albums on Billboard’s Top 200 list.
In 2016, when the band released their album WALLS they were granted their first number one album on the Billboard Top 200 list. They also have won three Grammys, three NME Awards, two Brit Awards and one Juno Award.
Their ninth studio album has been highly anticipated by their fans. When speaking about the album Caleb says, “It was the most enjoyable record I’ve ever been a part of…It’s like we allowed ourselves to be musically vulnerable.”
Kings of Leon will start their world tour on August 14 in Austin, TX, and will play in 26 cities across the US and Canada, ending in Bridgeport CT on October 5. The headline international tour date is June 30 in London, but additional international dates will be announced soon.
