As part of Kings of Leon’s world tour this summer, they have added a show in July, at Marlay Park, Dublin.
Kings of Leon’s world tour Can We Please Have Fun has been announced, including a date on Saturday, July 6 in Marlay Park with The War On Drugs as support.
Kings of Leon will be performing in 26 cities in the US and Canada, announced earlier this week. Following the North American leg of the tour, the four-piece band will make their way to Leeds on June 20, for the first date of the UK and Ireland tour.
The band will make their way to Birmingham on June 22 followed by a show in Bristol on June 23. King of Leon will be in London on June 30th before heading to Glasgow on July 2. On July 4 they will perform in Silverstone.
The good news for Irish fans is that Kings of Leon will come to Dublin two days later on July 6. They then go to Nottingham on July 8 before their final show in Manchester on July 10, at the Co-op Live Aerna. As much as their fans are anticipating the world tour, the band is equally as excited and are ready to start touring.
“When you have a band, there’s a bond like no other, and when you have family, you have a bond like no other,” Caleb Followill says. “We have both of those things. I thought, if we put all our energy toward something, who is gonna stop us? Who can stop us except us?”
