Kings of Leon tease four new tracks, build momentum for eighth album
The band's seventh studio album, 'Walls', arrived in 2016 and spawned the hit single 'Waste a Moment'.
Kings of Leon have promised fans that 'the W8 is nearly over' for the eagerly-anticipated album number eight, which will mark their first since 2016's Walls.
The Followill brothers have kickstarted the new year by sharing snippets of four new songs, marking the Tennessee quartet's first new music in roughly nine months.
KOL began teasing the forthcoming music on January 1st by sharing samples of the upbeat 'Must Catch the Bandit' and the broody 'Feel the Way You Do,' stating that the new tunes would be released on January 7th.
The teasers were accompanied by short black-and-white clips of the group members.
Over the weekend, snippets of the catchy 'Dancing in Your Head' and the 'Spin It Like We Can' were shared.
The band did not announce release dates for the latter two tracks or provide extra details about a possible forthcoming album.
Kings of Leon's most recent song arrived in late March during lockdown, titled 'Going Nowhere'.
The accompanying black-and-white video saw frontman Caleb Followill sitting with a guitar, belting the ballad in an empty room.
