Irish language rappers Kneecap have announced a second night in Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre for 13 December 2023 due to phenomenal demand.
Earlier this year, the Belfast-based group announced their biggest show in the capital to date for 12 December 2023.
The news of the extra gig follows a successful UK tour, as well as the announcement of their big screen debut and their single ‘It’s Been Ages’.

This month, it was announced that a comedy based on the band’s formation, written and directed by Rich Peppiatt (“One Rogue Reporter”) has wrapped shooting in Northern Ireland. The feature will be screened at the GREAT8 showcase at Cannes Film Festival 2023.
“We’re buzzing to show people a side of Belfast that isn’t about guns, bombs and death” Kneecap said of the film, “To give an insight into the youth culture that has been born out of that madness – we all needed a break from it and there’s revenge in our laughter.”
Since emerging from a West Belfast squat, Móglaí Bap, Mo Chara, and DJ Provaí have created their own distinct style of Irish punk rap, creatively welding the Irish and English language and spearheading somewhat of a cultural revival.
