Fine Art will be released via independent London-based label Heavenly Recordings, who the West Belfast group signed to last September.
KNEECAP member, Mo Chara, has spoken about English DJ and producer Toddla T's impact on the album, and during their first arrival to the studio, they scrapped everything they had previously prepared for the album.
"T’s idea was to tell the story of KNEECAP,” He explained. “So the record was conceived as the listener stepping into KNEECAP’s world.
“That’s where the idea came to set the whole thing in a pub. You walk into a pub at the start, there’s someone offering you a drink, there’s a singsong… really, it’s us taking you by the hand and leading you into our world.”
KNEECAP's most recent single from the LP, ‘Love Making’, was released earlier this month, joining ‘Sick in the Head’, 'Better Way To Live' featuring Grian Chatten, and title track of the album ‘Fine Art’ as the currently released singles off the album.
The album described by Hot Press as "a bitingly funny, thrillingly audacious record, full of imagination and style", will be released June 14.
