Join the Belfast icons for their newly announced Michael Collins’ Revenge Party in West Cork. Hosted at Connolly’s of Leap over the last weekend of August, Kneecap and special guests are sure to deliver “a weekend of curated madness.”
Belfast lyrical geniuses Kneecap are on the rise and rowdy for more, just announcing a weekend takeover in West Cork on August 27 and 28. Hosted at Connolly’s of Leap with both day and weekend passes available for purchase, the “Beyond the Leap, Beyond the Law” weekend-long event will kick off at 2pm each day and is sure to be a riot.

If you were lucky enough to catch the Northern Irish trio’s performance at Longitude Festival last month, you can trust us when we say this is a weekend you won’t want to miss. Kneecap’s sardonic lyrics, absurd charm and magnetic energy, all merged into a unique blend of English and Irish, promises a standout show (and if you weren't present for the magic, you can check out our review to read it and weep).
The party presents “two days of tunes and pints,” joined by some of the Irish collective’s favourite artists and kicking off performances on both days at 4pm.

Saturday’s lineup is set to kick off with London rapper and singer Jelani Blackman, whose sound fuses the soul, RnB and Grime of their diverse upbringing. Kneecap will also bring on Arveene, a certified “connoisseur of the Irish dance world” with a buzzing reputation throughout Dublin clubs. Other guests for the evening include Mango, who “makes rap records for the people who go to work with the club stamp still on their wrists,” and eclectic Cork DJ Lisa OH.
The second day will enjoy performances from trad and folk artist John Francis Flynn and the high-energy Ispiní na H’éireann, keeping the pints flowing all day long.
Stuck outside of Cork? No worries, return buses from the event are to be announced. Day passes are on sale for €30, though you might as well just go on and book the whole weekend for €50 plus booking. Tickets are available online now via Connolly’s of Leap.
