6 Irish acts have been announced for the UK’s largest festival, set to take place from June 25 to 29.
This year's first round of acts for Glastonbury has been announced, featuring an impressive number of Irish acts such as Kneecap, CMAT, Sprints, Inhaler, The Script and Snow Patrol.
This year’s headliners are British band The 1975, Canadian singer-songwriter Neil Young, and the American pop star Olivia Rodrigo.
The festival, founded in 1970, is the UK's largest musical festival, is set to take place from June 25 to 29.

Other acts currently announced include Rod Stewart, who will take to the Pyramid Stage in on Sunday, while Charli xcx is set to offer biggest performance at Glastonbury yet, headlining the Other Stage on Saturday night. Loyle Carner will headline Other on the Friday and The Prodigy will close the festival there on Sunday night.
Doechii, will make her debut at Glastonbury to headline the West Holts Stage on Saturday night. Other first time Glastonbury sets over the weekend include Noah Kahan, Alanis Morissette, Gracie Abrams, Busta Rhymes, Lola Young, Brandi Carlile, Myles Smith, En Vogue, Amaarae, Cymande, Shaboozey, Osees and Gary Numan.
The money raised from the festival will be donated to the Oxfam, WaterAid and Greenpeace, although tickets have already sold out.
