Fine Art was released last Friday
Following a tough chart battle against Taylor Swift, KNEECAP have debuted at No.2 on the Official Irish Albums Chart with their acclaimed debut album, Fine Art.
Fine Art is Hot Press's current 'Album Of The Month' – with Will Russell describing the LP as "a bitingly funny, thrillingly audacious record, full of imagination and style."
To coincide with the release, KNEECAP announced a major homecoming show at Belfast's SSE Arena on December 21. As part of their Fine Art Winter Tour, they're also set to play the Gleneagle INEC Arena in Killarney (October 27), and three nights at Vicar Street in Dublin (October 29-31). KNEECAP, an upcoming feature film inspired by the hip-hop trio's story, is set to hit Irish cinemas on August 8.
Taylor Swift's chart domination with The Tortured Poets Department – originally released over two months ago – comes ahead of her Dublin dates next week, taking place at the Aviva Stadium from June 28 to 30.
Elsewhere on the Official Irish Albums Chart, Billie Eilish's Hit Me Hard And Soft, which was last week's chart-topper, has dropped to No.3 – followed by Charli XCX's Brat at No.4 and Noah Kahan's Stick Season at No.5.
