Belfast-based Irish language trio Kneecap has been making waves with their US headline tour. Continuing their tour, they have announced the release of the title track from their debut album, Fine Art, via Heavenly Recordings, set for Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

Produced by Toddla T, the album features collaborations with renowned artists such as Lankum's Radie Peat, Fontaines D.C.'s Grian Chatten, and London hip-hop artist Jelani Blackman. The album takes place in an imaginary pub in Belfast called The Rutz.

This announcement follows their recent single release, 'Sick In The Head,' released February 20, 2024. A month ago, Kneecap released their debut feature film starring Michael Fassbender, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The film was the first Irish-language entry in the festival's program and has now been acquired for cinematic release by Sony Pictures.

Working with Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap, and DJ Próvaí, Kneecap had this to say: “When working on the album we had periods of great productivity but also periods with a total lack of anything creatively. Towards the end of recording, we hit a proper wall and this is the result. Our mental health was being tested and we said f*ck it we’re doomed to mental torture we want to have some money to get through it. We’ve had enough of it while being broke round Belfast.”
