Erlend Øye, one half of the Kings, solo artist, and some time Royskopp collaborator, shows no signs of his creative well drying up. Lifted from their excellent Riot On An Empty Street album, this is another slice of warm soulful acoustic pop from the Norwegian duo.

Lifted from their excellent Riot On An Empty Street album, this is another slice of warm soulful acoustic pop from the Norwegian duo. As usual the instrumentation is kept simple and melodic, making you feel all warm inside. There’s a real cosy feel to Øye’s vocals, and mid-way through he’s wonderfully complemented by the addition of Canadian singer Feist on backing vocals.
