Listen to the new track from the Dublin rapper below.
Ahead of the release of his highly anticipated debut album, Town's Dead, on June 25, Kojaque has shared a new track from the project, 'Wickid Tongues' – featuring a guest appearance from Biig Piig.
The track, which was inspired by a night-out and freestyle with Biig Piig in London, offers a further taste of what to expect from Town's Dead, following the release of 'Shmelly', 'Coming Up', 'No Hands' and 'Town's Dead'.
According to the Soft Boy Records co-founder, 'Wickid Tongues' is about “falling too deeply in love with someone a little too fast, and how that can play with your head and make you paranoid."
"It can be quite hard to build trust early on in any relationship," he resumes. "If you're not careful I feel it's easy for your thoughts to run away with you and you become suspicious when there might not be anything wrong.”
Town’s Dead is described as an "expansive and urgent tour-de-force that speeds headlong into sex, violence, depression, and the claustrophobia of your hometown" – with Kojaque exploring a tumultuous love triangle as it unfolds across New Year's Eve.

His debut album is set to be the latest landmark on what's already been a remarkable career – following the release of his Choice Music Prize-nominated concept tape Deli Daydreams in 2018, and his 2019 collaborative mixtape with Luka Palm, Green Diesel. Since being tipped as one of the Hot Press 'Hot For 2019' Irish Acts, he's enjoyed several high-profile festival appearances; a support slot for Lana Del Rey at Malahide Castle; and a coveted spot on YouTube Music's Foundry programme.
