Loyle Carner will be performing his latest album Hugo on the run, which has seen him stop at Dublin's Vicar Street for a blistering live show.
“It’s the greatest crowd on the planet, I think,” said Carner of Dublin last year. “We always start the tour there, and then no show can come close for the rest of the tour. I don’t really drink anymore, but I will be having a Guinness, of course.”
The Londoner has gradually climbed the ranks of the hip-hop scene since the release of his 2017 debut album, Yesterday’s Gone. During that time, the hip-hop star has graduated from Mercury Prize nominee to panel judge in 2022, with Hugo earning rave reviews for its brutal honesty and sleek production.
Elsewhere, Kojaque is bringing a one-day festival to West Cork on the 5th of August 2023. The all day event at Connolly’s of Leap, titled Soft Fest, will include performances by Soft Boy roster heavies Kojaque and Yenkee.
Friends of the label, Shiv and Curtisy, will also perform - plus Soft Boy DJs are set to bring us into the early hours of the morning.
Soft Fest will take place from 3pm-late. Tickets at €30 are on sale now.
