The legendary singer-songwriter and actor will play an extra date at The Helix in Dublin, on Tuesday, June 25.
Kris Kristofferson has added another Dublin date to his upcoming European tour. While he originally announced that he would play Cork's Live At The Marquee on June 23 and Dublin's The Helix on June 24, the singer-songwriter has now confirmed another show at The Helix on June 25.
Joined by Merle Haggard's band, The Strangers, Kristofferson will perform a selection of his massive hits, including 'Me and Bobby McGee', 'Sunday Morning Coming Down', and 'Help Me Make It Through The Night'.
The country and folk music legend, whose compositions have been recorded by over 450 artists, was a member of The Highwaymen supergroup in the 1980s and 1990s, alongside Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson. Aside from his Grammy Award-winning music career, Kristofferson also gained prominence as a actor. In 1976, he won a Golden Globe for Best Actor for his starring role opposite Barbra Streisand in A Star Is Born.
