Daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, Frances Bean Cobain, officially married Riley Hawk, son of Tony Hawk and Cindy Dunbar — in a ceremony earlier this month.

The two heirs to '90s counterculture royalty tied the knot in LA on October 7th, in a ceremony officiated by Frances' godfather and R.E.M frontman, Michael Stipe. Frances and Riley first went public with their relationship in January 2022, having reportedly been dating for months prior.

Frances was previously married to musician Isaiah Silva, but the pair separated in 2017. A messy divorce followed, culminating in Silva allegedly auctioning off Kurt Cobain’s iconic 1959 Martin D-18E acoustic-electric guitar (famously used during Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged set) against the wishes of Frances and Hole frontwoman Love.

Primarily a visual artist and model, Cobain has released several of her own original songs over the years through her social media account — but she has yet to officially release any material.

Hawk, following in his father's footsteps, is a professional skateboarder, also performing as frontman for punk-metal band Warish — their third studio effort 'Next to Play' having been released in April of 2021.

An exhibition featuring Cobain's Skystang I Fender Mustang electric guitar is set to go on display for the last time in Newbridge Co. Kildare from today; alongside a gig-worn pair of the late Nirvana frontman's levi's jeans.

Kurt Cobain, Nevermind is set to take place from the 24th to the 26th of October.
